Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology Held The Dunhuang Costume Show On The Sea, Starting A Journey Of Blending Culture And Fashion

Recently, entrusted by the National and Folk Literature and Art Development Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Dunhuang Costume Show on the sea with the theme of "Chanting about Dunhuang in Spring" undertaken by the Academy of Fine Arts of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology was held on the first domestic large cruise ship "Aida Mordor" for two consecutive voyages, adding a rich cultural chapter to the spring cruise ship voyages.

Costume Show

During the activity, 21 students majoring in performance from the School of Fashion Communication of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology incarnated as "Dunhuang Messengers" and showed 60 sets of traditional and modern clothes to Chinese and foreign guests in the form of dynamic catwalk, which vividly explained the beauty of the millennium culture of Dunhuang color. The clothes and costumes displayed integrate the elements of Dunhuang frescoes, with gorgeous colors and exquisite patterns, leading guests to travel through time and space and appreciate the bright charm of Dunhuang culture.

Before the opening of the fashion show, four volunteers were dressed in restored Tang costumes. The guests enjoyed the traditional costume technology closely and experienced the beauty of traditional costume culture in shape, color and pattern; In combination with on-site interaction, enhance the sense of participation and experience of guests, and immerse them in the unique charm of Dunhuang culture.
